1. Who can vote for the next leader of the NSNDP? The election of our Leader will take place through a democratic voting process. To be able to vote, you must be a current member of the Nova Scotia NDP in good standing by Monday May 30th, 2022. The process for voting will be one member, one vote - this ensures that every member in good standing’s voice is heard equally. Not already a member? Join the party to secure your Leadership 2022 ballot.
2. When will the leadership vote take place? The campaign period begins on January 30, 2022. Voting in the leadership race begins June 20th, 2022 at 9:00am and will end on June 25th, 2022. Announcement of the next leader of Nova Scotia’s NDP will be June 25th, 2022.
3. How does someone become a leadership candidate? Please see the 2022 Leadership Rules for information on eligibility and the candidate application process.
